Car flags flying for St George and England
Doubtful wins anticipated gladly
Nervous games participated madly, shouting from the chair
My dugout bench when I am there at touchline
Drinking much wine

They can do it, frantic fans demand
Checking gladatorial injuries waiting win juries
Wishing for a ball that’s true and referee that’s fair
To express their pundit views
Watching all news

Time to cheer them on with refrained voices
Repeat the deeds of old for our sake
And for yours, make every fan who raises voice surrender
To the joys of each scorcher and bender
Don’t let it end there

Go for the cup with strength, and passions fighting
For your success, your all – and nothing less
Behind your every move our fear, we suffer stress
The final and the cup are getting near
Waiting to cheer.
