More for ‘some people’ than from my own heart;
Indeed, as a Chelsea fan it would be hypocritical to bemoan the figures proposed by Man City in trying to capture Kaka – offering to more than double the previous world record transfer fee and offering wages of a quarter of a million pounds PER WEEK!

There have always been advances in transfer fees and wages, as dictated by market forces – even back to the very beginning when it was the mining towns who had the wherewithall to dominate football in its nascent era – but this – as the title suggests – is a quantum leap that not even Abramovich’s billions introduced into the game.
