Draw distraction

Glued to the radio Ö.
So old hat
Nowadays itís the interweb
For draw chit Ďn chat

Itís still auntie beeb though -
Picking up their live feed
Plus an insight
To anotherís daring deed

A century of centuries?
Means nothing to me
But India celebrating
As they break for tea     *

And misery -
For a legend of the swim kicks
A certain Aussie
Not making the Olympics   **

But all those breaking stories
Are really just noise
For what I want to know is -
The oppo for the boys?

A certain Mr Breitner    ***
Pulling out the balls
The tension is too much
Itís driving me up the walls

Chelsea in the hat - - -
And out come Benfica
We avoid Barca & Real
So letís shout Ďeureka!í

* Sachin Tendulkar has just hit a hundred centuries in internationals Ė a cricket world record

** Ian Thorpe, Australian swim sensation, fails in the Australian team Olympic trials

*** Paul Breitner, an old German (much respected) foe from the 70's.

Didnít matter who we drew really, all 8 teams have got to the Champions League quarter finals on merit.
