Kinda set the tone from kick off
For a boring football afternoon.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The finest crop or Belgian youngsters
Since the French lads from Clear-fontaine
Expected to over-run the aging Russians
Under Fabio Capello’s reign.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 As all armchair experts reading this
Know full well to our cost
There ain’t no easy games or an easy street
When The World Cup comes along.

Were collective as a team
While Belgie ace Lukaku needs so sharpen up his act
Or the dug-out’s where he’ll be.

Unless they quickly grasp that fact, I’ve a feeling

Notes

I was really looking forward to this game,
But Belgium did not obviously feel the same,
As they rarely threatened anything of substance
Or indeed Fabio Capellos fading Russians.
