Notes

Almost a true story I did miss a game or two for being “with the devil in me and so bold” as the nuns would say.

I also had a lot of run-ins with the fine Sister Claire, bless her soul.

But hey, I was a young fella and I thought I knew it all, she, the lovely woman soon put me right on that score!

There is nothing more of a punishment than to see all yer classmates getting the coach to go and play in the match and although you were picked to play, because of yer bad behaviour you were grounded!

Ah well, never done me any harm and still to this day me and me mates talk of the nuns fondly!

peace.

kev.
