A False Dawn?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 When Fosun arrived the new broom swept clean
But sacking Kenny Jackett was rather mean
Two record breaking seasons and one that was bad
He had done his best with the funds he had.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 And so poor Kenny was shown the door
After a busy pre-season he was seen no more
In sprang Walter Zenga, an Italian full of life
But we might just as well have signed Mick McCarthy’s wife.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Walter was second choice that was plain
And he tried so hard but all in vain
Despite his enthusiasm, passion and desire
The results were poor and the football dire.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 From charismatic Italian to dour Scot
I think our owners have lost the plot
They’ve decided on a Brit with Championship knowhow
So sacking Kenny Jackett seems rather silly now.

Notes

Wolves are going through a period of turmoil at the moment. After much expectation there is a general air of disappointment around. Now we have Paul Lambert at the helm let’s hope he can steady the ship and get us sailing up the table.
