A grave mistake, Didier

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Oh Didier Drogba, what have you done?
Did you realise that you were doing it?
Could you not help yourself,
Notching winners for fun,
Though you knew you might well end up ruing it?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The Ivory Coast has her place in the sun,
Celebration and partying’s rife,
But what will you say
When the tournament’s done
And you have to go home to your wife?

Notes

A player I have expressed great sympathy for due to the physical disability that prevents him from remaining upright in penalty areas, I am now doubly sympathetic towards him, after his goal helped knock Mali out of the Cup. His wife is from Mali.
