A Late Own Goal

The interview was going rather well.
The search for a new head coach at United
Was nearly done, as far as one could tell.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 They’d liked his transfer policy suggestion,
They’d liked his most unusual approach.
Then one of the directors had a question
He needed to find out from the head coach.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 “Tactics!” said mild-mannered James McGinty.
“Tell me all the where and what and why.”
“All I know, they’re small and white and minty,”
Came the rather puzzling reply.
