A Poem In Reply To Blah.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 If one prefers to watch games
Despite exorbitant prices
Don’t mean one can’t stand up and complain
Nor should they sit down, in their seats, and stay silent.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 For most fans, every seasons a struggle
Raising the gelt for an overpriced brief
With half the country in deep finanacial trouble
Us cash strapped fans, need some sort of release.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Match tickets on a game by game basis?
Are deffo, priced out of our league
A basic season ticket minus airs and it’s graces
Is cheaper by far, the lean route to follow ones team!

Notes

Blah. Of course I continually complain about ticket prices etc, nearly every fan I know complains, just because we as fans choose to pay these sky high prices to our chosen club, that don’t mean we have to like what they’re doing to what is after all a fans game and fans in most cases are the club.

Anyway although it’s struggle for me as it is for most fans, why should I stop going? I was here before money and rich oiligarchs came along, and people like me will still be turning up every week to watch games, long after they’ve gone and bought them selves a new set of toys to play somewhere else with.

peace
