East End boys and girls aloud
Will welcome them with cheer

Let’s hope they can afford
To blood a few new players
And get rid of the board!

Where have you both been?
Another London derby
For us all to take in

Of whom I’m sure
Looks down on you tonight
Send them down an open cheque
To help ease their plight

When teams of class
Were produced at Upton Park
The academy was paramount
To give young stars a start!

Good to see the Ammers back up! Great academy as well, in these days of overpriced stars they might just need it to blood a few new finds of the season to keep them up next term!
