An Act of Braggadocio or What?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 On an Istanbul night
Where Dantesque signs
Welcomed our fans to the game
I had my concerns
For some mates made the journey
Fearing Hot Drog and his frame.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Avoiding defeat
We met up in the street
“How was it?” I eagerly enquired
They cool and calmly reflected:
“Not as bad as we’d expected
By way of a baptism in fire.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Though it was a cauldron like Kev,
It has to be said”
Voiced the one known for his gumption
“That for sheer passionate emotion
There’s nothing quite so explosive
As a Derby… fought out by The Thames in West London!”

Notes

So bring it on, this coming Saturday.

Carefree…. braised in Celery.

Stay well, be lucky and keep smiling.

Peace.

Kev.
