And Now There’s Just One

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The last day approaches
The final countdown
Finger nails bitten
And wearing trousers of brown
Our premiership survival
Reliant on Sir Alex and Gus
To defeat their opposition
Which might just save us
But I have a horrible feeling
They may not be so kind
With those two big cup finals
That they still have in mind
But we are all dreading Sunday
So high are the stakes
Celebrations for the victors
And the others……..The wakes.

Notes

Sunday May the 24th 2009 is going to be a interesting day
to say the least, down to the wire as they say, I know the fans of Hull, Sunderland, and the Boro shall no doubt question my sincerity but I wish them all good luck in what has been a disapointing season for us all.
