Another Glorious Chapter To the Liverpool Page

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Down the Walton Breck Road the red scarves fill the air
Mates meet with mates and legends are shared
A pint at the Albert a chance for a song
The faces familiar and each face belongs
Through the gates of Bill Shankly read the 96 names
Hearts weep for justice, the truth still estranged
On a park built for heroes our idols were forged
Boots packed with passion fought hard for the cause
A shimmy from Kenny, a bullet from Case
The grand goals from Rushie that lit up this place
A pass of pure genius from Ray Kennedy’s boots
The inimitable style as Barnes turned to shoot
Fowler on fire changing water to wine
The Scouse tones of Molby his slimtonic waistline
Gary Mac on a free he was priceless to us
A wonderful treble held up from the bus
Now Rafa and Stevie and Carra take the stage
To add another glorious chapter to the Liverpool page.
