Then comes the daft penalty caper,
You knew Leighton always takes those.
44 minutes , the ball hits Lescott’s raised arm ,
ref points to the spot with no hesitation,
but you grab it in your greasy palm
as Naismith tries to sort out the situation.
At half time, Sly Stallone shouts that mistakes can be mendable
but like his last 3 films show, everyone’s expendable.

Notes

Stallone was on the big screen and a bit of filming was done at half time for Rocky23 (that’s how many points we’ve got )
