Arsene’s Coat

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Now Gunners have a boss called Arsene
who’s sure to go to heaven
Always spotless, clean and neat
The smoothest Premiership manager.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Now Arsene’s got a long blue jacket
Steve Bould said it cost a packet
Arsene won’t even let me explain
why that blue jacket is such a big pain.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Oh my perfect Arsene
What Spurs like to do, he doesn’t
He’s the Gunners’ pride and joy
The Arsenal’s old golden boy.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 That coat has a tricky zip
Which clearly gives Arsene the pip
Stands in the dugout trying to do it up
But try as he might, he has no luck.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Oh my perfect Arsene
What Spurs like to do he doesn’t
He’s the Gunners pride and joy
The Arsenal’s old golden boy.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Even at the age of ten
Arsene had a smart coat then
His mum showed him how to do it up
But Arsene found it very difficult.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Arsene tries to avoid dejection
But what a shame it’s in vain, total rejection
Coats will never be left on the shelf
Cause Arsene he’s in love with himself.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 Oh my perfect Arsene
What I like to do he doesn’t
He’s the Gunners pride and joy
The Arsenal’s old golden boy.

Notes

Felt I had a to write something to celebrate Arsene’s difficulties in doing up his long, blue jacket. Hilarious! With apologies to Feargal and the guys.
