Attila the Hun

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The Bluebirds have stopped their singing
And the Canaries are now silent too
But the Wolves they are howling
The brummies are a rhapsody in blue.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The Lilywhites have nicked the sixth spot
After going on a nice little run
Defences struggling with big John Parkin
Rampaging through like Attila the Hun.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 It’s West Brom and two from the North East
Who look to be on the way down
No more Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal, or Liverpool,
But now Peterborough, Barnsley, and Keano’s Ipswich Town.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The MK Dons face the underdogs Scunthorpe
But the Irons could just upset the apple-cart
While Leeds have to go into the Lions den
Not a place for those of faint heart.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So for some it’ll end up in tears
But others will be on cloud nine
So good luck to all of their fans
Just try and enjoy it, and have a good time !

No disrespect intended to John Parkin, because Attila was allegedly a dwarf, but it just seems to fit in nicely !
