Away Defeat. West London.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Sat in the boozer
A well-gutted loser
After witnessing a woeful display
I still couldn’t believe
How David (Curly) Luis
Gave that stupid penalty away.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Our day would get worse
Than the previous verse
As two of our players saw red
Fighting gamely with nine
We were doing just fine
In spite of a card dealing ref.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Two shouts for pens
By our under fire men
Deemed nothing by the man in the black
Later shown on the telly
Had blues round the box in a melee
Pleading for the ref to be sacked.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Gaining in stature
We were more than a match
For our newly promoted opponents
But all the possession and shots
Won’t win you titles and pots
So don’t mean a blimmin iota

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 As a sitter was missed
We were catching the drift:
Today was to be one of them days
Still it could have been worse
As prior to match in this verse
United lost six one at their place!

Notes

Oh dear. We can blame the ref, we can blind and f, but in truth we lost our discipline big time over at Loftus Road yesterday.

Take nothing away from Rangers they held on to a 1-0 for lead nearly ninety minutes, and we helped them by getting two players sent off, not playing to the whistle (Ashley son) and getting Lord knows how many bookings. Which could cost us dearly over the fast approaching Christmas period when we’ll need all hands on deck trying to claw these valuable points back.

Go well and be lucky.

Carefree…………

Peace.

Kev.
