Azoy Shein Und Azoy Troyrick*

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 To be or not to be?
That is just the question
Will Robbie Keane
Be fit and mean
And available for selection?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Will Mayfields man be ready
To steady and to calm
The Eire boat
As Faroe’s hope
To ruin our World Cup plans?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 As wailing wall of Isreal
Return to promised land
That keeper such a bleeder
Should be suspended
Or just banned

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 As Moses parted the Dead Sea
As commandments were set in stone
What just did the referee see?
As O’Brien walked off alone

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 On extra time
Of seven minutes
How did he arrive?
I made it fiftheen minutes
As Isreali’s conned and dived

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 The keeper stood as Babylon
As Dubhs just lost the plot
As for Eamon Dunphy
He can go to Hell and rot

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Oh Ben Gurion and Moshe Dayan
Your boys so swift of foot
Have nicked a point in Dublin
A gitn shiddekh* it was not * (a good match in Yiddish)

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 May Golda Meyer look down on you
To wave you on your way
As Eire’s hope were dashed and trashed
By Isreal’s idea of play

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 I hope we meet again some day
In World Cup pretty soon
That we may then put ten past you
So you’ll get wooden spoon!!!

Notes

Oy, gevald! What a game for play acting and drama from the Lords chosen people? The referee was just as bad, do Greece have some kind of deal going on with Isreal?

Before the state of Isreal was born didn’t a lot of Jewish refugee’s reside in Cyprus and Greece???

* Yiddish for so beautiful and so sad! Which just about sums it up.

peace.

kev.
