1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The “Champions’ League” is here again.
It has a faulty name
(Though it’s not the only one
Which has been foisted on the game).
You don’t have to` be champions
To open up the door
Into the competition;
It’s enough to be in the top four.
“The Championship” is what they call
The old Second Division –
Another stupid name
Deserving everyone’s derision.
The Third Division’s now “League One,”
The Fourth is called “League Two.”
Such nonsense. I’m fed up with football
As it is. Are you?
