Breathless From London!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Breathtaking stuff at The Bridge
As Chelsea come back from the edge
Of a cup tie defeat, that means we must meet,
Spurs again, White Hart Lane, Monday week!

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We could have lost it all there at the finish
Just the width of the bar kept us in it
Can we please in the replay, unlike today
Try and play for a whole ninety minutes?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 It may sound stupid to question me team
Who, so far, have had quite a good season
But, we never start playing till the interval slaying
That Jose gives them for some reason?

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So boys try and look at it this way
Of ninety minutes being what you must play
No more one, two goal starts
That puts a strain on me heart
Like the match I’ve just witnessed today!

Notes

WOW!

I’ve seen two breathtaking three all draws this week-end, that at last,
gave me back that buzz of really exciting end to end stuff that seems to have been missing for quite some time from the games I’ve seen, both live and on the box.

The first at The Nou Camp on Saturday night between Barca and Real Madrid was the best game I’ve seen for ages for all out attacking play, with no holds barred. Where, two managers who had to go for it,…did.

Then yesterday,Chelsea once again turned up for forty five minutes aftera right rollicking from Mourinho! To scrape a home draw against Spurs, who should be going into Mondays draw without the need for a replay, in all honesty.

Perhaps he(Mourinho) should give our team a piece of his mind before the game starts, why bother waiting till half time comes to tell the team what he thinks of them? Then, who knows, we might, just, get off to a flyer?

I dunno if me old ticker can put up with all this, but it’s exciting stuff all the same.
