(for the best home football shirt)

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The Prem is stunned by our success
Ending many years of hurt
City won the ‘best home shirt’ award
And what’s more, they don’t show the dirt

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Our boardroom isn’t full of stuffed shirts
Though Delia has been known to stuff a marrow
Our Italian styled yellow tops
Are the pride of Carrow

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Don’t get shirty with me
It wasn’t me who voted
Faithful fans won us the title
It was me who gloated

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 It’s official – the best home shirt
And our players are fit to wear it
The only Prem title we’ll win this year
So for our Fine Club – let’s hear it

Norwch City have topped the Premier League Best Home Shirt poll, gaining 75.5 per cent of the vote (there’s not much to do in Norfolk) ;D.
The shirt is a brighter acidy yellow than the mustard yellow favoured when we were sponsored by Colmans, and is generally liked by the supporters. Unlike Newcastle supporters, we don’t shun wearing bright yellow shirts – except for the bloke who sits next to me. He proudly wore his brand new bright yellow home shirt to be told by his wife “You look like a banana”. He’s worn an away shirt ever since.
