Chambers of Horrors

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Deep in defence behind twinkling feet and talents
Of bold Colombians, French and Spaniards
An English lad fresh up from Hants
Was sadly made to look real pants
As Potters wove and drove and left him in sorrows
We witnessed there our Chambers of Horrors

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 What possessed us all to believe his skills
Were worth what the Saints had charged in bills
Suddenly against these strip-ed foe
He looked just like a frightened doe
Until with foulest foul he then saw red
And I turned off Lineker and went to bed.

Notes

On watching Calum Chambers’ disastrous performance for my beloved Gooners v Stoke City on December 6th 2014
