Champions Of Europe (Again)

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 “We will give you the moon
On a plate made of gold
We will wrap up the oceans and seas
A rainbow or two with a bright silver bow
And the wealth of the world all for free
Fortune and fame those twin sisters of greed
We will offer and beg no return!”
But there’s nowt you can give me
That matters at all than seeing
Liverpool Champions of Europe again

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 “We will offer you riches
Red rubies and jewels
Bring the stars down from heaven above”
But I have red rubies 11 so rare
And each one of them oh how I love
So you can keep all your money
For it don’t mean a thing
Compared to the jewel Istanbul
And the pages of glory once more they will turn
Liverpool 5 times won the European Cup.

Notes

just bought a couple of new CLF t shirts (5!), roll on warm days balmy nights and the new seasies fixture list 😉
