Chelsea 2-1 Sunderland

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Let’s face it
We did heely, heely well
Coming back from behind
And fascist notions to dispel !

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 In fact we scored all three
Gifted their opener, courtesy of AZ
Yes an o.g.
We were all at sea

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 But then Lady Luck smiled
Not once, but twice
Enabling us our comeback
After that initial dreadful slice

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Oscar went through on goal
But Simonet seemingly thwarted
Though spinning off Kilgallon’s heel
The ball netted in a route most contorted!

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 And as for the winner
Ivo reckons it was intentional
But we’ll beggar to differ
His well-heeled finish most unconventional !

Notes

Premier League match # 31

The winner was a deflection from a David Luiz shot (going wide)

Tough starting ground:
Paolo Di Canio becomes the fifth manager (including caretakers) to start his time in a Premier League job with a trip to Stamford Bridge. None of the five have come away with a victory.

Fascist notions to dispel?
Lot of media frenzy around Paolo di Canio’s appointment as Sunderland manager this week, with much attention on his previous comments about being a Fascist, which he now claims were taken out of context.

MotD added fuel to the fire by showing JT giving PDC a big hug before the game started.
