1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 No surprise, no shock there at the contents of that ‘leak’
The BBC headlines that followed, still changing as I speak.
Headlines designed to cause further harm, distress and
mistrust.
When will this kind of misinformation ever bite the dust?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Ken Oxford informed number 10 that ticketless fans were
to blame.
Another copper blamed it on drink, a coward with no name.
Those Merseyside senior officers spoke wrongly out of turn.
Though some people will believe them, as some people never
learn.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Police Forces to be found closing ranks, clear for all to see.
Music to Thatcher’s ears, those policeman’s lies would be.
Similar lies and accusations, you can be sure the panel will find.
But The Taylor Report will never change despite more lies of
that kind.
