Cobblers to Northampton

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 So we’ve lost our Football ground
and now our “home” games are away
we have been”asked” to go to Northampton
with the first match to be played on Sunday.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But the vast majority of us aren’t going
we will never go to another’s ground
so I’m sorry but Cobblers to Northampton
we are not giving you a single pound.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 A round trip of about seventy miles
plus the extra finance thrown in as well
so I say to you behind this move
you can all go to Hell.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Your not telling us fans what to do
and our fight to stay in Coventry goes on
but we we will never ever give up
until these hated owners are all gone.

Notes

As Northampton have a home game on Saturday we have to play on the following day.What a come down that is and they wonder why we are so angry ! And not only have we been punished with another Ten points deduction,we may get hammered even more as a dozen of our fans ran on Crawleys pitch on Saturday to try and stop the game which they did but for only five minutes.
And if the men in suits think we will meekly give in and calm down they are in for a big surprise,as this is just the start !
