1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I listened to the game last night
As England played the Danes
The commentary was excellent
Shame the score wasn’t the same
The crowd was just amazing
The cheering never ceased
It sounded like St Trinians
As England took the lead
Although the ground half empty
Soon started to fill
The noise was just continuous
Feminine and shrill
Let’s hope we mash them Swedes up
To keep our hopes alive
I throughly recommend
You listen to it on 505!!!

Notes

I turned up the radio so I could hear the game over the printing press I was running and the noise never stopped not for one minute! Great game, shame about the result, though we still are in with a chance if we mash up the Swedes!!! It sounds as if all out opponents have played a lot more games than us, so are much sharper why is that???
