2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 From Arsenal to West Ham they’re all on the list,
I’ve checked them all twice in case one has been missed.
But no, they’re all there in the Premier League,
Bringing much speculation and a little intrigue.
This gap between seasons is a time to reflect,
And then to look forward to what we expect.
What we expect are games played with pride,
With style and with purpose from each man in the side.
On August the twelfth when that first whistle blows,
Be prepared to live through all the highs and the lows.
With twenty clubs on that list,
All doing their best,
The fixtures will put them all to the test.
Have respect for your club and respect for the game,
It’s the sport that’s the winner and Football’s the name!
