Now that was fun
To put it mildly
Oh, how we celebrated so wildly

They sure know the drill
World Cup finalists once more
Oh, how it rocks us to the core

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The Hun stun, and give us the creeps
So, while England weeps
And Korea blubs
Let’s examine, the use of subs

Out of Choi
But certainly it was all gung ho
When on Sung did go

A wing provider
Made way for Jeremies
I just prayed … please …

And on came Lee
But did he answer my plea?
If only

Mix in a dash of Teutonic efficiency, and a touch of karma
Anything, to transpose England, into Yokahama

Semi Final

Germany beat South Korea 1 – 0

One of the best defenders of the tournament, Choi, had to go off injured, on came Sung, and within minutes Ballack had scored the winner for Germany.

But, how oh how, can a team lose 5-1 in qualifying, and still get to the World Cup final? And how come, the team that inflicted that beating, England, cannot make it? Plenty more years of hurt, I fear.
