Deja Vu?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I’ve been here before I thought to myself
As your man took his run and let fly
The Arsenal back line left to fend for itself
Had facing a firing squad look in their eyes.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 When it flew through the air we were clueless
Till it swerved to where bar meets the post.
The keeper’s dive swan like deemed useless
By this rocket from our bald headed bloke.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 “He nearly saved it,” a fan near to me said
“Wait till they show it next time”
“If their keeper had nearly saved that,” I jested
“He’d be down on the underground lines”.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Didier Drogba placed the ball as a favour
Then moved his derriere out of range quick
Now a nervous Fabianski can verify with Reina
On how hard Chelsea’s Alex can hit it!

Arsene Wenger and his football for the purist Arsenal, most probably deserved a draw yesterday, at the every least for the amount of possession they had and that wonderful flowing passing game they play, but….. unfortunately the two Arsenal assets mentioned above never put the ball in the net and never won anybody a football match.

A great London derbie never the less.
