Derby

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 A match like no other
Blue vs Red
Yellow cards they’ll be a few
Maybe even a red or two
Tackles aplenty
Maybe we’ll even see some football
A rivalry like never was seen before
On the field we fight
Off the field we unite
But come Saturday at twelve fourty five
A whistle shall blow
On the blue half of Merseyside
This is not a football match
This is a fight with a ball
This is war.

Notes

One of the most anticipated matches in the footballing calender is of course the merseyside derby
