Di Canio and Winterburn

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 When Alcock dived and di Canio walked,
A flood of fury was uncorked.
And Winterburn joined in the fray
From over fifty yards away.
And in poor Paolo’s face he yelled
With anger, as he felt compelled.
And Paolo turned and clenched his fist,
Which caused the Arsenal back to twist
And throw his arms up, duck and cower,
Afraid of the Italian’s power.
No arm was raised, no punch was thrown,
But an important truth was shown –
For though dear Nigel bravely blustered,
He was, alas, a cowardy-custard.
