Dionne Warwick whistles through my mind

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 A football poet sits in a coffee shop, writing:
the old man
thinks he is writing a letter of complaint to the FA,
the young man
thinks he is txting a girlfriend,
the child
thinks he is writing a fan letter,
the businessman
thinks he is proposing a sponsorship deal,
the tourist
thinks he is writing directions to Stamford Bridge megastore,
the employee
thinks he is taxing his brains too much,
the silhouette, of fame and fortune,
walks on by.
