Disgusted of West London..

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 No-one I spoke to last evening
Seemed too displeased
We’re out of the Champions League
After our conniving and conning
Often outplayed – amateur theatrical team
Tried to intimidate the match referee.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Said ref had his deck out,
Before the blue hue converged
Demanding Ibrahimovich depart,
Indeed had decided on rouge
Purely based on his view
Yet our protests were still borderline farce.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I’m pleading a Wenger here
(As I can’t afford or want Sky)
I shouldn’t comment as I didn’t see
So I’m trusting in the know voices
To use as my at the game eyes
Of Mark Poughach, Lawro and Green.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 “But PSG were as bad Kev,
Let’s face it”
Don’t matter or help ease me pain
What matters is we
(and I’m talking about MY team)
Resorted to blatant cheating to try and win…a game.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Eddie Redmayne has just won The Oscar
(There ain’t one for The Champions League)
As me old fella used to say:
“Cheats should never be allowed to prosper”
Way back then still applies today
Whether its Hollywood or over “The Bridge!”

Notes

My personal thoughts based on one of the angriest radio broadcasts I’ve ever heard. All in a poem. I’ve a feeling there’s gonna be some fall-out from this little lot.
(The match that is)

Carefree…….. and a bleating bunch of cheats.

Stay well, be lucky and keep smiling.

Peace.

Kev.
