Dishartened

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 First we had ‘Sergeant’ Wilson:
lads, would you mind awfully
if we could win a match?
A measly three points from
thirty three, plenty
of reasons to panic.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Then we had mogadon man
Paul Hart.
Like being managed by a
dead sheep.
Negative tactics sucking the
lifeblood out of long suffering
fans and players alike;
seven points from twenty seven.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 And so we shuffle towards relegation,
going down with barely a whimper.
Best players sold and the rest
desperate to leave.
No wins at home since
December, an embarrassment;
four goals scored in nine under Hart
tells its own story.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Truly it has been the worst
season in living memory.
Somebody, somewhere has been
a very stupid boy.

Notes

I can’t remember a season like it at STFC. And just think this time last year we were getting ready for a day out at Wembley?!
