Dolphin – Friendly

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 We’ve used tin cans, rolled up socks
tennis balls, conkers, a small cardboard box
carrier bags stuffed with leaves
a rolled-up jumper, tied up by sleeves

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Now the dolphins are at it

Oh! just wide – endless expanse of sea
another wave of attack, flips it expertly

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 We’ve seen it all in this game of ours
plenty to talk about, debate for hours
What’s left now?
Camels in the desert? Cacti for goalposts?
