Egos in Boots

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Easy to spot
Big, flash wife
Big flash house,
Big flash life.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Plenty of cash
No surprise there
The wage you pay me
Five million a year.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Egos as big
As the grounds where they play.
Pay me some more,
Or I’ll be on my way.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Play every game
Is what I demand.
How much a week?
Oh, just hundred grand.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Provide me with this
Provide me with that
Provide all these cushions,
My ego grows fat.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 The fans call me hero
For playing a game
Pamper me or I play
For some other name.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 My fame goes before me,
World famous you know.
I’m bigger than football,
With my world sized ego.

Notes

Sadly the number of overpaid egos grows, as they forget who pays their wages.
