Enjoyed the Euros

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 So the Euro’s are coming to a close
and the Final is just a day away
all in all I think it’s been a good one
and it beats boring Wimbledon any day.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Who’d have thought Greece would go far
and those Germans succumb to Italy
loved Ballotelli’s second goal rocket
but sadly England just can’t take a penalty.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 So Spain are going for a third trophy
but could the Italians cause an upset ?
when you’ve got Pirlo in your team
I may go to the bookies and have a bet.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Let’s hope the final is entertaining
but they usually tend to be a bit of a bore
but as a neutral I want to see lots of action
with exciting football and goals galore.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So may the best team win on the night
and it may be three on the trot for Spain
but all this football has whetted my appetite
as I now can’t wait for the new campaign !

Notes

A tough one to call I reckon and it could even go to a penalty shoot out ?
But I don’t know if any others feel like me right now,but I want the new football season to start next week and not in August.
Even though my team will be playing in League One I’m now ready to get behind the team and hopefully see them get back up straight away.
What a powerful addiction this sport is,be shaking and sweating next !
