Euro 2008 Day Six i

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Croatia 2 Germany 1

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 There once was a wily Croatian,
With a suit and an ear decoration.
He fashioned a team
That took on Europe’s cream,
Including the Germanic nation.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 He plotted to rampage and pillage
And stun the great footballing village.
The powers that be
Looked on nervously
At the warriors assembled by Biliċ.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 There were some who considered him smarmy.
Still more who avowed he was barmy.
But of course, to his face,
They were sweetness and grace,
Sore afraid of the man and his army.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The Germans were left in a shambles,
Joachim Low now a man who just rambles.
To their great surprise
They were cut down to size,
Before they’d got through the preambles.
