Euro 2012 Day 10 Match 1

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Germany 2 Denmark 1

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Alas, poor Bendtner. I knew him, Horatio.
At home, a poor goals to game ratio
but, if they say that all the world’s a stage,
a veritable master of the age.
Is this an Agger that I see before me,
battling bravely in conditions stormy?
Painted warrior, fighting to the last
against the shrill and fearsome Teuton blast.
And lo! here’s Eriksen and Krohn-Delhi too
and Poulsson, Jacobsen and the motley crew,
brave mortals who would walk among the gods,
defying fate and unaccounted odds.
The quality of van Persie had been drained
but, at the last, a brave defeat remained.
