Every Cloud has a Summer Signing

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 There was a buzz around the ground
But our bee got swatted
Maximum points was our aim
‘Til our copybook got blotted

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Ashton, Ashton, little star
Scored a goal and hit the bar

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Different line-up, same excuses
Worthington has cooked his gooses

Notes

When will this man stop playing people out of position? Having signed half a dozen new players in the close season, he plays one of our central defenders in midfield even though defence is our weakest area and we do not have an effective established central partnership. The best of the bunch, Shackell, didn’t even make the bench. Where’s the running, the getting stuck in, fighting for every ball – oh yes that’s right, offloaded. Wish you well Gary Holt.
