let’s forget the talking let’s just play

“a swallow doesn’t make a summer’s day”
we can all pontificate for hours
we’ve become the masters of cliché

suddenly they hate the wealthy Blues
I’m delighted day or night to watch them
they’re a breath of fresh air win or lose

football’s unpredictable as life
everyone makes comments on Mourinho
change is what makes everything survive

what did we all do before they came?

One swallow definitely doesn’t make a season either…..
Still a compelling match (Moan U v Chels)with the Reds just about deserving it I guess. They certainly had their backs to the wall in the second half though, and if not for poor finishing by the likes of Del Horno, Drogba and Lamps.. a draw would have been a fairer result.(!)….Not a popular one though, judging by the verbal hatred directed towards Chelsea in the pub i watched it in…. (the only lone Blues fan as ever)…..

What is it with fans.?? .I appreciated Arsenal at their finest and still do..Man U were and can be awesome..
Liverpool,when they rise to the occasion are stunning..Wigan have been a revelation..

I guess it’s just jealousy..sadly..’we’ were like it for years..playing pretty football but never winning a thing .and life’s like that too … .sometimes it feels like we’re on this beach covered in Man U,Liverpool and Arsenal towels…. and Chelsea come along… with their little “excuse me we’ve only won the title twice… but can we put our little Blue handkerchief down here in this corner?”..only to be greeted with “.you ain’t worthy mate…..you just bought success..!”
Let’s just play..there’s room for everyone at the top…(come on Wigan make it interesting !) ……so how nice and refreshing then…to see 3 maybe 4 teams all battling it out this season for 2ND PLACE!
How charming too !”
