Fairweather

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I once saw the team i love,
crawl on all fours,
fall through the door,
and slump on to the middle of an obscured table.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I still loved it,
I was branded forever.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I once saw the team i hate,
sell it’s soul to the devils,
but a mighty team it became,
to taunt us with their money.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 You loved it,
it was now a brand forever.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Now it is that the team i love,
are on the brink of greatness again,
a legacy we never lost,
I never left it’s side.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Whatever, however, whenever,
it will be with me forever.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Now it is that the team i hate,
want their soul back,
someone bigger than the devils came,
to feed upon it.

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 I then hear you burn and destroy,
forgetting the pact that got you here,
threatening to leave it’s side,
and whore yourself to another.

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 Through the wind and the rain,
it’s a burden I will bear,
but you have not even weathered,
wanting a taxi fare somewhere else,
to sell yourself like your team did.
