Notes

A recent report says watching the match burns up more than 1,000 calories per game. Over a season, it is said that 4,564 calories are used purely on goal celebrations (Norwich City fans burn far less in this category obviously). Moaning at the ref burns up 61 calories per game. Even armchair supporters burn 688 calories per game (fetching beer from the fridge???)

As I long suspected, this report seems to back the feeling that fans work up more of a sweat than most of the players during a game.
