I’ll stick with the Championship – we had to leave the country to play Cardiff on Saturday and that was pushing the boundaries far enough.

Maybe the ‘little teams’ in parks and pubs will thrive if this latest idea goes ahead, us people of a certain age can’t stomach much more of
our games top brass gorging on excess…
