Football: The Multicultural Game

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Football’s the game,
That nearly all of us like to play,
It brings people together,
And sometimes tears us apart.
People look up to him,
Like he’s a god,
All from different nations,
From every city to every home.
His posh wife calls him ‘Golden Balls’,
We just think of him as a great scorer,
He ‘slipped’ and kicked a guy in the other team,
And paid the price in misery.
Do you know who he is yet?
If you still can’t figure it out,
Don’t ask a mate,
Ask someone from the opposite race.
As I’ve said before,
Football’s the game,
That nearly all of us like to play,
It brings people together,
And sometimes tears us apart.
To prevent the tearing,
Help with sharing.
Every nation across the world has a football team
So let’s forget about racism
And think of the world as the football
And us – the people as one big multicultural team.
