For The Coach (Driver!)

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Ingerlands coach to be fair
On his getting us there
Should be lauded and praised up on high
I mean: what went through his head?
When the streets of Kiev
Must be an absolute nightmare to drive?

Notes

I simply couldn’t resist this.

A person put in charge of a football team is still to my mind a manager, not a coach, a manager. Coaches take you down to the sea-side on yer summer holidays don’t they?

Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Matt Busby. Bill Shankly, Jock Stein, Rinus Michels and the wonderful Gusztav Sebes the Hungarian,(and early purveyor of what we now know as the total football phenomenom, turned in to a whole new ball (sic) game by the marvellous Dutch team under Michels) were all, and still are as in the case of S.A.F, managers.

Rant over!

Go well and be lucky.

Peace.

Kev.
