Friends in High Places

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 A supporter of East Stirlingshire,
on the day he passed away,
called his dear wife to his side
and had these words to say..
“Put m’ cellphone in m’ hand
b’fore they lay me in th’ grave,
so I can keep in contact wi’ aul’ pals
like Jim an’ Bill an’ Dave…”

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Next week when Jim received a call
from his departed friend on high
he asked, “Any East Stirling fans up there?”
to which his good mate answered, “Aye..
mair than any other team,
y’ see as far as I can tell,
we all get a place in Heaven,
’cause we’ve already been thro’ Hell!!!”
