Germany v Algeria (Analogy)

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Watching this one
Kind of reminded me
Of when I was a printer
and the printing press’s
I used to operate years ago.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 On the one hand
You had the no frills German
Manufactured Heidelberg
Methodical, reliable and though cumbersome
It carried on clunking away all day
To eventually get a professional job done.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Every time you set this one up though
You thought: we need to change this soon
It’s slow, laborious and on it’s last legs
Any time soon
It could through age just stop functioning properly
and we’ll be in big trouble.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Then a new model (Algeria)
Would arrive
That was quick to set up
Ran a lot faster
Consequently got through more work
So the future looked prosperous for it and us.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Running alongside the older one
You saw the difference right away
Every part moved effortlessly
Through out, was less noisy,
and a lot more adaptable.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 The only other difference was:
While the older one had a professional finish to it
The newer one didn’t.

Notes

One of, if not the best game I’ve seen so far. I still can’t work out how Algeria didn’t win.

Stay well, be lucky and keep smiling.

Peace.

Kev.
