Get Out Of Yer Box!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 To sit inside a perspex box
Is not my idea of fun
Is it a way for a wealthy father
To impress his part time son?
The real action is in the seats
As elements are met
Sometimes it is baking
Other times it’s wet
You hear the shouts
Come from the pitch
As tackles make the sound
Of breaking and a shaking
That echo’s all around the ground
As good natured fan’s all to a man
Extract the oracle
The shouting and the bawling
Can sometime’s be so cool
To sit inside a box and hide
When things are going North
I’d rather stand up and be counted
And cheer the boys on with me mouth
As yer keeper has a weeper
And is more concerned about his locks
All you punters in yer perspex lairs
Go on get out of yer box!!!

Notes

Not for the real fan these. Warm and comfortable with lunch and all you can eat and drink. You might as well be at home in front of the telly.

Even Roman our saviour sits out in the open, no boxe’s for him, if it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for me!

peace.

kev.
